Noosa Valley Manor Newsletter – April and May 2010

Welcome to the latest news from Noosa and from Noosa Valley Manor Luxury B&B Retreat.

Summer has come and gone but that means that we are now enjoying the beautiful Autumn weather, free from the high levels of humidity. In our view, the next few months are by far the best time to take a break on the Sunshine Coast. If you are not already convinced, here are a few more reasons to tempt you to come.

COMPLIMENTARY Gourmet Dinner for two at The Manor

For those of you who have sampled Kathleen’s cooking, you should need no further incentive for a return visit. For those yet to enjoy this unique dining experience, all you have to do is book two or more nights any time in April or May. In return you will be treated to a two course Gourmet Candlelight Dinner preceded by mouth watering savouries and Sparkling Wine, Tea/Coffee/Petit Fours. Please mention this offer when booking as it is only available to our regular newsletter subscribers.

Noosa May Fiesta

This was originally designed to assist in filling beds in what was a traditionally quiet time in Noosa. The events have become so well known that it is advisable to book in advance. They attract visitors both within Australia and from overseas coming specifically to enjoy the myriad planned events. They include:

- The Noosa Food and Wine Festival
- The Cooroora Woodworkers Wood and Craft Show
- The Body Art Festival
- The Noosa Riverfest Regatta
- The Noosa Master Swim Carnival
- Competition prizes worth over $10,000

Plus heaps more……

Visit http://www.mayfiesta.com.au/events.cfm for a full list of the events that have something of interest for everyone.

Value Packed Noosa Lunches

I’m not talking about a lunch box out of McDonalds or Red Rooster! Many of the top Noosa restaurants offer a two course lunch with a glass of wine for around $25 a head. Our favourite would be Trios at the Noosa Marina where you can enjoy great food and superb views over the river.

So You Think You Know Noosa?

Noosa has so many great attractions that it is very hard for visitors, even regulars, to discover them all. Here are links to two articles that I have published that provide you with enough ideas to keep you busy for days – most of them No cost or Low cost!
